It’s the Weight of the Glory

In a dream, there was a massive car pile-up ahead. On the right, there were 2-3 cars that had crashed and just in front of me, there was another crash that occurred because of the accident on the right. Except on this side which we will call the left side, there were 2-3 cars in a crash but it was in a circle. It began to roll back to me. I was in the car as a passenger. The cars rolling back somehow turned to 5 in number and began rolling back towards the vehicle I was in (that had come to a complete stop). I thought of my mom and said my final prayer of just the word Jesus. In that instant, I felt the weight of the car I was in stabilize and prepare for impact. However, no impact happened and I heard the Lord say it was the weight of my Glory.

In the Bible 2 Corinthians 4:17

For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!

——In the Greek outweighs or baros means abundance and authority. Produced A glory that has a vast (immense) abundance. And immense authority.

New King James Version

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,

——In Hebrew, the word glory is stated as kabowd which means weight or heavy. In reading the new KJV it says a far more exceeding and external weight of weight. Oftentimes in the Bible, things are repeated in order to allow the reader a brief comprehension and a more in-depth understanding of the object. As there are no true words in the language to adequately describe it. The weight on its own is heavy. But to feel the weight of a weight means to feel with such intensity. If you’re working out you may feel the fullness of a thing. That you embrace all that is present. That you envelope yourself or immerse yourself into a blanket or warm sheets. To feel the weight of a weight is that you have discovered its true heaviness. Discovered its impact. Discovered some of the capabilities.

In the car, it was not just the inside of the car that was protected. It extended to the outward parts like a force field. God's protection, His stabilization, His weight, His glory, His abundance is all around you. Even in tough times. It’s around you. In the dream, I walked away with no scratches. I essentially stepped out of the car and walked in my authority because I know His weight is with me.

And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore you, secure you, strengthen you, and establish you.
